Since the first fast train network was opened in 2003, China has added more than 1,000 kilometers of railway network per year. Given the speed of development, it is worth if there is a worrying development that the network is less meet the standards set.
Earlier this year the railway minister was fired for "violating discipline". A source told the New York Times, there are efforts to reduce use of chemicals used to harden the runway rail.
As a result, the speed of the train which was 350 kilometers per hour was reduced to 300 kilometers per hour.
